Nate Dogg Dies at 41
Breaking news last night as L.A. crooner and former Death Row artist Nate Dogg reportedly passed away.
The West Coast artist was born in Long Beach California and was responsible for many of Dr. Dre‘s hits. We first heard Nate’s vocal’s on Dre’s most successful album to date, The Chronic. Nate was more successful as a collaborator rather than a solo artist. Lending his vocals to many of Hip-Hop’s elite, he was the go to guy and the voice of the West Coast.
For some time Nate had been suffering from illnesses and he was rumored as being unable to afford health insurance. In 2007 and 2008 he suffered two strokes and his condition worsened as years passed. His death was officially reported late Tuesday night and the Hip-Hop world will be mourning the loss of Nathaniel Dwayne Hale
