BUFFALO BILLS FAN PREVENTS BLACK OUT!!!
I’m getting a lot of stories about people who have been giving and this has to be the BEST (non celebrity) related donation I’ve seen thus far! A restaurant owner Russell J. Salvatore, 77, purchased and donated 7,000 tickets to this Sunday’s Bills and Patriots game in order to prevent a black out. Salvatore a long time Bills fan will donate the tickets to the military and charitable organizations involved with young people.
“The timing couldn’t be better,” Salvatore said. “It’s Christmas. It’s the last game of the season. What a way to go.”
Under NFL rule, (and an agreement with local broadcasters) games will not be televised if they are not sold out. With Mr. Salvatore coming to the rescue, not only did he allow at least 7,000 fans to enjoy the game, but the entire city of Buffalo due to his kind act. We certainly need more people like this in the world and I give a KUDOS to this gentleman for his generosity!
