Looks like rapper Ja Rule will be chucking up the deuces! Here we go with ANOTHER rapper/celebrity that is on his way to jail!
According to numerous media sources, the rapper has pled guilty to a gun charge (which is a felony) in New York today and the judge is guaranteeing that Ja will be spending two years in jail. The Murder Inc. star pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree.
In a reaction to his sentence, rule stated “A Minor setback for a Major comeback” following up with “What did I do to deserve this!!” (Ross voice) Um, maybe carry an illegal firearm?
Ja will get his sentencing date this Friday on a case that dates back to 2007. With the recent convictions of former Giants Plaxico Burress and rapper Lil Wayne, this should send a clear message on how strict the gun laws are in NYC. I actually like Ja, so all I can do is wish him the best and hope he keeps his head up!
