Birdman Supports Lil Wayne’s Comments

In a show of support, YMCMB Ceo Birdman backed up the statements made by his “son”, Lil Wayne. Hear what he had to say here!
During a press conference in Times Square, NYC yesterday, Sen. Malcolm Smith demanded an apology from Lil Wayne after saying he didn’t like New York.
Smith stated, he hopes Nicki Minaj (who is a native to New York) whispers in her bosses ear and tell them they were wrong. (As if that’s going to happen.) CEO Birdman responded to the controversy and said this about Wayne’s comments,
“To me, I feel personally, whatever my son say I’ma ride with. If he say he don’t like it, then that’s just what it is. If he don’t like it, we don’t like, I don’t like it if he don’t like it, so…if he say it, that’s law.”
It sounds like the Young Money Law to me. So what does this mean? You won’t perform shows in NYC? You won’t work with NYC artists? I find that hard to believe seeing your BIGGEST act is from here, and you signed Busta Rhymes who’s also a native New Yorker.
I get it, you had some bad experiences in New York and it may not be your most ideal destination. But at the end of the day, at no point did you take the time to exclude the fans from your statement. Which is what I have a problem with entirely. There needs to come a point where the fans STOP supporting talentless artists, especially ones who blatantly spits in their face.
