Joe Biden “Unchained” Remarks Cause Controversy

Joe Biden is known to make some off the wall statements, but did his recent comments go too far?

Republican opponent Mitt Romney and a few others are up in arms over some comments made by Vice President Joe Biden. During a campaign speech in Virginia (in a room amongst blacks), Biden proceeded to say

“The last time these guys unshackled the economy ’to use their term’, they put the middle class in shackles.”

The most controversial comments were when he accused Romney of letting the big banks write their own rules. In his colorful explanation he stated,

“Unchain Wall Street…They gonna put ya’ll back in chains.” 

The way I look at it is, Joe Biden is like that Uncle you cringe at during the family BBQ every time he opens his mouth. You know…after he had a few drinks. So you don’t really get offended you just say, “Ok Uncle Charlie, you’ve had enough!!!”

However every comment or action during a presidential election are elevated.
