Nas Releases “Cherry Wine” ft. Amy Winehouse

It’s almost a year to the date (July 23rd) and Nas made sure Amy Winehouse memory has not been forgotten!
It looks like Nas will be dropping another classic July 17th. After WOWING us with his hit single Daughters, the God MC releases another track featuring Amy Winehouse titled Cherry Wine. Despite her controversial life and death, Winehouse was loved for her music.
During a recent interview, Nas said the song came from “God and Amy..” ‘Cherry Wine’ was produced by Salaam Remi, who worked with Amy on her previous albums.
Speaking on how the track came about, Nas said:
“Salaam worked on her last album, and they were working. We don’t even have an explanation for how it happened. It was just magic. It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen.”
Nas looks to cement his legacy, collaborating with the best artists of our time alive and dead. The upcoming “Life is Good” album includes Drake, Rick Ross, and others.
