Justin Bieber Gets Heated: Hangs Up Phone During Interview After Justin Timberlake Comparison

During a radio interview with Mojo In The Morning, things went south when the DJ referred to Justin Bieber‘s single Boyfriend as a Justin Timberlake track. But find out what caused Bieber to hang up after the follow-up. YOU WONT BEILEBE IT!!!

There’s no question there’s a level of maturity on Justin Bieber’s new album Believe. So I wasn’t shocked when a radio DJ thought Bieber’s new single Boyfriend was originally a Timberlake track.

During the interview the tone changed when Mojo told Bieber what he thought:

“I hope you take this as a compliment,” said Mojo. “When I first got played the song by your record people, and this was months and months before it came out, they said ‘Take a listen to this and tell me if you can tell me who this is.’ I thought it was Justin Timberlake.” 

“When I heard ‘Boyfriend’ for the very first time,” he continued. “I thought it was Justin Timberlake’s single.” 

Unfortunately, Bieber didn’t take it as a compliment.

“Man, that’s crazy because our voices sound nothing alike,” he said.

“I mean, I’m not trying to sound like anyone. Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. … I think if you were to say ‘I heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things in your sound,’ I would take that as a compliment.” 

If that wasn’t enough, a few minutes later, Mojo made a reference about his relationship with the group One Direction. Well the interview immediately went in ANOTHER DIRECTION after he made a reference about Bieber’s mom being influenced by one of the band members.
