NYC Superhero Emerges From Subway Fight, His Name: “Snack Man!”

Every once in a while there’s a viral video that simply amazes me. On the surface you see another random NYC subway fight. But beneath it appears a SUPER HERO who effortlessly prevents a fight from  escalating while snacking. A super power I’d like to have!

The man appears at about 11 second into the video and calms the aggressor with a hand signal. Afterwards, he proceeds to block the two (running interference) while eating his snacks! The clever YouTube community caught on to this heroism and commented accordingly.

WHO ARE YOU SNACK MAN!?! WHO ARE YOU!?!

The website NYU Local tracked down the snack man and identified him as Charles Sonder. With his identity revealed they found out he was on his way uptown to have drinks before his heroic journey. While munching on Cheddar Pringles he replied “I had to do something.”
