Right or Wrong?: Tracy Morgan’s Estranged Mother Faces Foreclosure, Refuses To Help Out?
Tracy Morgan is making media headlines and not in a good way! His integrity is being questioned after his estranged mother is coming forward saying the $18 million dollar comedian refuses to help her keep her home!
I’m not usually one to judge before gathering all the facts, but this story appears to have more drama than an episode Love & Hip-Hop!

Tracy Morgan’s mother Alicia Warden, is reaching out to the media in an attempt to get some assistance on her foreclosed home. By her account, she reached out to her son for help when she found out she owed $25k on her house. By her account, the two had a brief conversation when Morgan told her someone would get in contact her. Moments later his accountant contacted her offering a meager sum of $2,000 dollars!
She cited that her and Morgan were estranged and the relationship went sour after his father died following their divorce. Things didn’t get any better when Morgan’s book I Am The New Black was released. She stated that everything was a lie and he painted her out to be a prostitute.

Morgan spoke out about the allegations and had this to say to the DailyNews:
“I am saddened that these untrue stories about me have people questioning my commitment to my family,” continuing with
“For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my mother in 11 years, and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister.”
“We all have personal family issues that we have to deal with in life, but I choose to deal with mine in private and not through the media.”
In response, Walden told the DailyNews: ‘There’s nothing for me to lie about,’ adding that Morgan landed the first blow when he wrote about his family and upbringing in his memoir I Am The New Black back in 2009.
She went on: ‘People are saying that we’re airing our dirty laundry, but he’s the one who wrote about us first. He can’t keep telling lies and expect me to be quiet about it.’
Alicia Warden appeared on Youngstown, Ohio, CBS affiliate WKBN-TV adding more fuel to the fire.
She said she still loves her son, but emotively said: ‘He hasn’t seen me in a long time. Now he sees how I look.’
Earlier in the week Morgan’s sister Asia Morgan,41, waded in a blasted her brother.
‘Because of the way he’s treating our mother, all bets are off,” says Asia.
‘He’s never been a nice person. And money’s just made it worse.’
Warden’s utilities are also on the point of being turned off after she failed to keep up payments having lost her job a year ago.

My2Cents: No one can relate to family issues more than I can. As I don’t know the complete details of the story I will say this, you may not be able to fix the emotional wounds that were inflicted in life, but making amends to the mother who birthed you is always a good place to start.
For the sake of their family, I pray that their issues get resolved.
