Did Vybz Kartel Break Out of Prison? [Rumor Report]

Did Dancehall star Vybz Kartel break out of prison and murder a prison guard along the way? This story is so crazy, it’s almost impossible to believe!

I can’t co-sign this, but this story sounds so funny we had to share. So according to MTV.Uk, Jamaica’s favorite Boogie Man {Thanks to the bleached skin} not only started a prison riot, but spooked a guard in the process which resulted in a heart attack.

Vybz who’s real name is Adidja Palmer, is being held in Jamaica’s Horizon Adult Remand Centre where he is being investigated in connection to several murders. A report came out today that Vybz along with other inmates took control of the prison, held up guards, took keys and clothes, then fled in a pick up truck. It’s a tale literally out of a straight to DVD movie.

This story is unconfirmed because according to  The Assistant Commissioner of Police Les Green, the incident is false.

“I know nothing about that. If that had taken place I would certainly have known,” he said.

This story is a result of two things: Either it’s an elaborate hoax, or it’s a cover up by Jamaican officials due to the sheer embarrassment. I mean can you blame them? If true, the death of a prison guard is tragic none the less.

Although its stated the prison riot was the cause of death, the sheer sight of his skin pigmentation is enough to give anyone the Heebie Jeebies!
