Why We Don’t Feel Sorry For Lebron James!
Ok, I get it. When you’re Lebron James and you’ve taken the course of action that wasn’t the ‘popular’ opinion amongst most, I can understand why you may feel some type of way against ‘The Haters’. However, Lebron James needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment and I’m going to tell you why!
To first off ‘assume’ that everyone’s life is lesser than yours by saying “They gotta wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had…same personal problems they had….today” is an illustration of how shallow the man is.
Personally I’d like to say I have a FANTASTIC life Mr. James and so do millions of others who ‘hated’ on you. I’m sure there were plenty of millionaires and people content with what they achieved in life that rooted against you.
So because they didn’t want to see a self-absorbed overrated athlete ‘like yourself’ win a chip you assume that their lives suck? I can’t speak for an entire generation of haters, but I can speak for most, and what they see is someone who needs to humble themselves.
From the moment you made your announcement to South Beach, to your duration there, it’s been about Lebron James. The hour-long ESPN special, the reaction to Charles Barkley‘s comment, your twitter name @KingJames are all attributed to a man who cares more about his image than his game!
We didn’t root against you because we are haters Lebron! We rooted against you because you need to humble yourself! Hopefully this experience attributed to it, but I highly doubt it. Because at the end of the day, when you got the Jordan comparison’s you weren’t complaining.
So you have to take the BITTER with the SWEET! Your former boss Dan Gilbert said it best ‘There are no short cuts’ and not cause he’s a hater, but because it’s the truth! There’s going to come a time in your life where failure, manners, and hard work will get you to the top.
AND THIS NBA FINALS EXPERIENCE WAS A LEARNING CURVE!!!
