Radio Beef: Funkmaster Flex Responds To Mister Cee Arrest & Takes Shot The Breakfast Club!!!
The lines in the sand has been drawn, and it’s an OFFICIAL TURF WAR between New York City Hip-Hop radio stations HOT 97 and Power 105.1!
Keeping everyone up to speed here, a story broke this weekend about Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee being arrested for lewd conduct. The Hip-Hop DJ who was responsible for breaking Biggie, broke one of the BIGGEST stories this weekend when NYPD officers found him “allegedly” getting oral by a 20-year-old male.
Funkmaster Flex was the first to defend Mister Cee dismissing the rumors as false! However, official court documents confirmed that an arrest had taken place with a pending hearing June 1st. Fast forwarding to the radio station down the dial, Power 105.1 in New York The Breakfast Club co-host Charlemagne The God featured both Mister Cee and Funkmaster Flex in his “Donkey of the Day” segment in back to back days.
On Monday as he featured Mister Cee, he encouraged the DJ to come out and “be free” claiming that we live in an age of transparency and there is no need for him to hide. On Tuesday he featured Funkmaster Flex calling him “Flex Hogan” and an “Old Payphone Nigga”. Not having a care in the world, he also stated that he’s not trying to get record spins and that he is prepared to go to war. His Twitter account reflected the following:

Charlemagne went IN!!! Flex is a sucker for alot of the shit he does so I’m feeling him. I don’t knock Flex for standing tall for his man, thats what homies do. But the wolf tickets he’s selling is crazy right now. Nobody scared of Flex. The payolla he eats don’t make Charlemagne shit, what power does he really have. Talking tough, smh.
