MTV Talks With “The Walking Dead” Cast Members & Season 2 Revelations!!!

If you’re a FAN of the AMC series “The Walking Dead” derived from the graphic comic book series, you’ll be excited to hear about the NEW additions to Season 2!

MTV recently caught up with the cast of “The Walking Dead” at this year’s Golden Globe‘s. Although they didn’t reveal too much, one thing that was confirmed was that BAD ASS Michonne will be making her debut in Season 2. For those unfamiliar with the graphic novel, Michonne is a sword wielding femme fatale that is accompanied by 2 zombies on a leash!

Another important character in the comic “The Governor” is believed to NOT make an appearance in the television series. Philip aka “The Governor” is a sadistic man who established a town of about 40 people during the disaster and would feed anyone who opposed him to his zombie daughter. Although the cast knows little about the details of the second season, they have confirmed that they have not begun shooting yet.

Lead actress Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break) jokingly stated ”They’re waiting for Atlanta to get as hot as possible before they send us back down.” Look closely at the video and you will see one of the actresses slip up “hinting” that The Governor will make an appearance in the television series, just not Season 2.

Here’s something you guys may not know about me: I LOVE ZOMBIES & ZOMBIE RELATED MATERIAL! So I am all over this! I’m currently reading the graphic novels as we speak and between the show and the comic books, it’s the MOST entertaining zombie story I’ve read so far! I will keep both The Walking Dead and zombie fans updated on details with the story!
