BREAKING NEWS: ORLANDO MAGIC DISMANTLES TEAM IN A 2 TRADE DEAL!!!
In the pace to keep up with 2 of the Eastern Conferences BIG THREE (Boston & Miami) the Orlando Magic appeared to be a team showing desperation and they traded away Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis!
The Magic must’ve seen the WHOOPING the Heat put on the Knicks last night and said “We need to get our shit together” because in a mid-season move, Orlando traded Rashard Lewis to Washington for Gilbert Arenas, and traded away Vince Carter to the Suns re-acquiring Hedo Turkoglu along with Jason Richardson.
After losing 5 out of the last 6 games, the Magic definitely hit the “Panic” button and got the “wheeling & dealing” this Saturday. In a move that works for all parties, Washington can focus on their future point guard John Wall while trading away the troublesome Gilbert Arenas. In addition, the Suns will get the HIGH FLYING Vince Carter while Orlando will re-acquire Turkoglu who contributed to the early success of Orlando and is an outside threat as a shooter.
With the trading deadline approaching in February, expect a lot more deals to be made in the NBA as teams try to keep up with franchises such as the LA Lakers, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics. In saying that (as a Knick fan) CAN WE PLEASE WORK ON THIS DEAL TO GET CARMELLO!!!

Hey man, great post I’m defs glad I took the time out to read it. Anyways, I was just shocked to see this big blockbuster trade go through and it just makes the NBA season that much more exciting. Hedo Turkoglu going back to the magic with Gilbert along with J-Rich. The Magic really needed a shakeup and I think it will be good for them. Actually, I think it works out pretty decently for all the teams. They seemed to have gotten what they wanted, or gotten rid of what they didn’t want for that matter lol.
