BREAKING NEWS: T.I. CHECKS INTO PRISON!!!
Say Bye Bye to Atlanta rapper T.I. as he officially begins his 11 month prison term in an Arkansas prison. Media website TMZ.com is confirming that T.I. checked in sometime “this afternoon” and will be inmate #59458-019. Although Tip was not charged for drug possession during his September arrest, he was sentenced after his probation had been revoked stemming from his 2009 federal gun conviction.
T.I. will go through the normal process which will include a prison photo, community shower, bunk assignment,and the standard prison uniform–Khaki trousers, shirt, and black shoes. The inmates are only allowed 300 minutes per month of phone time as well. This information is coming off the heels of wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle drug conviction which we learned about on Friday. If Tiny is charged with the possession of drugs, she can serve up to a year in prison as well.
