FERDINAND DIMADURA DOCUMENTARY ADDRESSES WORLD HUNGER IN SHORT FILM (CHICKEN A LA CARTE)

In February 2006, Filmmaker Ferdinand Dimadura participated in the 56th Annual Berlin International Film Festival. His short film was submitted in the FOOD, TASTE, and HUNGER themed competition that year. With over 3,200 filmmakers participating, 32 films were chosen, and Dimadura’s documentary Chicken ala Carte topped thee competition winning Most Popular Short Film. The 6 minute documentary addressed an ongoing problem we are dealing with Globally which is starvation. It’s been a while since something almost brought me to tears, but as I watched the 6 minute documentary, it raised my awareness, and I hope it raises yours as well.
